Just a word about the things Todd said. I am sure
he didn't mean to use the word stupid. Just venting
maybe. Nothing is stupid. You have to try things to
figure out what is going to work and what is not. Just a
poor choice of words.<br
the frenchmen...I know that Chuck for one would grab
the chance to be able to stand. Not so much for the
walking just the standing. The standing frames are a
pain, big, and can't move around too well. CHuck has
one that will roll around with him in it. The braces
are a real drag. Not easy to get on and not easy to
get up with. Sitting back down is easy. Just fall
back. But getting up can feel like you have done a days
work in 10 minutes. If there is a way chuck could
stand for a while without these things he would jump at
it. So I for one will look into this stuff. He still
has alot of pain and it would be nice if he could
just be upright for a while to relieve his back. Not
to mention the butt. <br
Port Charles. I wrote to the guy that is Playing Matt,
Mitch Longley. He was very kind and wrote back and gave
me a lot of good things to try. I was shocked when I
got the hand written letter. I will definately watch
those shows to see how it is done. Might even call and
talk to the people that have developed the system.
What can it hurt? And if it makes someone feel better

Success is not a matter of whether or not you can. For there
is no doubt, not even in your own mind, that you can.
Success is determined by whether or not you will.
Achievement and fulfillment depend on what you choose to do
with the opportunities and possibilities that are undeniably
yours.
Will you decide to avoid the best of those possibilities by
hiding behind well-constructed excuses? Or will you choose
to accept, to make real, and to live the full value with
which your life has been blessed?
It is great that you are in a position to achieve so much.
Yet it is far, far better when you actually do it.
You have everything you need, right now, to make this very
day a day in which your life moves positively and decidedly
forward. You have the capacity to dream big, wonderful,
meaningful dreams a nd to make them real.
There is no question that, one way or another, you have the
ability. It's up to you to choose to use it.

i have become aware of certain Medical Supply
companies
invading our chat groups just to advertise their
company. they start
off all nice by saying something like " this is not an
advertisment,
i am just trying to inform you..." thats Bull$#^*. any
person naming
a specific company, or its telephone number, is
advertising for that
company. plain and simple. Recentl, i found one of
these "non-
advertisments" ia another group i belong to. The name
of the company
is wilmington medical supply. i used to work for them,
and its owner
martin gallan. without getting into great detail lets
just say that i
would not recommend getting anything from this
company. the say they
give out free samples, but the want your SS number,
and other
personal information. I have found people that were
told they would
get free sterile catheters only to be charged
hundreads of dollars
months later. Wilmington Medicals response was
"medicare requires us
to collect payment of the 20% that is not covered."
that too is
incorrect, medical supply companies are allowed to
waiver the extra
20% due to financial difficulties.
Does this sound familiar? Have you had a similar
experiance with
Wilmington Medical Supply or another medical supply
company? If so,
tell your story. i plan on logging all complaints and
creating a
petition that i will send to all major insurance
companies including
medicare warning them about these companies so that
the are no longer
abled to collect money from them. We can hit them
where it hurts,
their wallets!! and maybe they will learn that
disabled people are
people too!!! thank you for your support

Hello everybody! I help people obtain their catheters. This is a
system designed for people with frequent UTI'S. It involves straight
catheters or closed systems. These are becoming more popular due to
their portability. I would like to introduce the hydrophilic catheter
and I can get samples of these to you if you would like them. I work
with doctors nationwide as well as rehab hospitals. Please don't take
this personally. If you don't need these, just disregard this message.
As I have said before, I can get you free information and samples if
you are interested. Just email me at scourt@.... I don't
ask for money or anything like that, I go through the insurance
companies. We do all the paperwork also so it's less hassle for you.
Just leave a mailing address and the size catheter you use and I will
send it out. For those who contact me, thank you.

Why is it that people are leaning on the "hope" of stem cell research when the reality of it is bleak. Downstream cancer in every case. YOU HEAR THAT! EVERY CASE! Oh it's Bush's fault again I'm sure.
One year ago, the Miami project restored severed spinal cords in rats then dogs by a strange mix of anti depressants and female hormones. Yeah wierd. It broke down the enzymes that coat the severed section of cord, then healed. When it was noted that that had NOTHING to do with stem cell research, the project was tanked.
Now I'm not in the healthcare field but am in a position to see who's who in the money scheme. If stem cell offered such results, believe me Pfizer and the likes would be all over it. Don't ya think?

Scott,
Thank you for your apology Scott and I do accept it and appreciate it. I dont have a problem with you either Scottjust some of the behaviors at times which I wont go into. I can understand that you may be angry due to being in a chairto put it bluntly it sucks at times. I wouldnt say the anger is your fault at allit comes with being paralyzed and adjusting to the a new way of life.and when your newly paralyzed its even more difficult (you have said you have been paralyzed for a year now right?) believe me I do understand. After being paralyzed for 17 years I have learned a lot from the experience and Im still learning. Adjusting to and accepting a new lifestyle is not an easy taskthere are a lot of emotions involvedanger being a top one the first couple of years. What helped me out was family and the few friends that stuck by my side, without family I dont think I would have adjusted as well as I have. So definitely depend on family. Accepting your disability and
the possibility that you may not walk again is the key to adjusting to your disability. The most well adjusted people are the ones that have accepted what has happened to them. I spent the first two years after being paralyzed researching and hoping for a cure.then after taking Anatomy and Physiology and getting into the neurology partI realized I wasnt going to walk again. After that I moved on. As for today there is more hope with stem cell researchI am a Republican but we need to just get Bush out of the White house to further stem cell research here in America.that would make a great discussion topic for the group.we will save that for another time.
great one Heather!!
All of you who sent me your condolences to pass on to my best friend
about her son who was killed in Iraq last week, I want to thank you all

read them. She couldn't believe the response I have gotten and I again
thank you for your kind words, thoughts and prayers. If you are able
to, for her benefit send me an ecard to give to her. His body still has
not arrive here but we are hoping it will be in the next day or two,
then they have to go thru the funeral, so it is still far from
over.Thank all of you again.

right on the money. Another futile attempt at FES. Have
you guys ever SEEN that? Like he said there are wires
though out your body, your wear long leg braces, and use
a very large walker that has a control panel. As
you push a button you cause a muscle to contract
resulting in movement that puts one foot in front, then you
hit another button (or three?) to get the other leg
to move. Here you are, wires in your body (that can
never be removed) with the contraption, and taking very
clumsy awkward baby steps, which take FOREVER! The

Interesting you guys mentioning methadone. it was
suggested to me. After my morphine ordeal, i am trying to
live with my pain, getting by with some neurontin.
Can't imagine taking 600 mg at one time! I accidently
did once, and was prety much stuck in bed till it
wore off. I wonder what the long term effects are of
some of this stuff? Some of us will live 30-50 more
years (yikes) maybe they will come up with diferent
things. there were two more things someone used in her
pump, i think one was dilaudid, or dilaudin, and i
can't recall the other. she tried morhpine and went
into cardiac arrest, not one, but twice ..again after
they released her, and adjusted the pump UP again.....
duh! when will they learn.<br

timbuktu
There was a contest to see who could come up with the best poem ending in the word "Timbuktu".
It was down to the final two contestants, a well known college professor and an old ranch hand from Texas.
The professor was chosen to go first and right away he starts with :
"Miles and miles of sand,
riding in a caravan,
camels two by two,
destination, Timbuktu."
The crowd cheered for the professor.
It was the ranch hands turn and just before the buzzer sounded he blurted out :
"Tim and I went hunting buck,
we came upon a maidens tent,
they were three,
we were two,
I bucked one and Tim bucked two."

And what I've found about double doors is that the
wheelchair can just about always fit through just one side.
So if someone tries to open both from the front,
they create this sort of arch while they hold one door
open with their backside and the other with their
arm--of course then there is no room to go through at
all. When I get to a double door if I am with Ed I
just wait for him to open one door in the usual way
and I go through it. If I'm with someone who doesn't
know I'll wait outside and say "Just one door
please"--and smile of couse...Betty :>)

Just read your post of 2/00.It has always been
awkard and an embrasssing entrance into public places
when I accompany my daughter. I sigh with relief when
there is a door opener or automatic door. Almost 18
years and I never got the hang of it until I read your
post. She is usually ahead of us because she goes so
much faster in her ele. chair or we have in the back
of our heads it is polite to let her enter first.
Then we are trying to hold the door open from behind
her. Some doors appear that they will break under the
pressure of her foot pedals. Why we haven't thought of
going ahead of her and holding the door must be blamed
upon our complete stupidity. But, when there is only
one person with her how do you handle the double
doors so many places have now? Dorla

had to have it replaced in 97. I was very
dissapointed that the low battery alarm went off when I only
had the pump 3 years. However, the doctor that
started the baclofen pump program left Ohio shortly after
the program started and passed on to another doctor
who had no clue about the pump. To make a long story
short I was hospitalized with very severe spasms and he
turned my pump up from 118 to 818 which only masked the
problem (UTI). After he turned it up that high I
continually asked him to slowly turn it down but he refused
and said if its not broke don't fix it. A short time
later he passed the pump program on to another doctor
who was more understanding and gradually turned my
pump down until its current rate of 200. The doc told
me the pump only lasted 3 years because the rate was
so high it caused the pump to work overtime. I hope
you can understand all of that, it was a nightmare or
a real life soap opera. I am very pleased to say my
pump is still at 200 and everything is going
well.<br

For those that may be on neurontin for pain, i
just recently got information over break that two new
strengths are coming out soon, 600mg and 800mg tablets.
that will probably be both easier to dose (and to know
what you can safely take) and a little cheaper on the
pocketbook. i know we don't have them at either of the
pharmacies i work at, but i did see an ad in a pharmacy mag.

Hi All,
I am a 56 yr old female who has been a T-6 Para for 17 yr due to seat
belt damage in an auto accident.
I have been trying to find a good exercise video/dvd that will give me
a good cardio workout. Everything I've found at this point is simple
stretching or strenghtening exercises. I'd like something to get my
blood pumping and to burn calories. I do wheel around but it bulks me
up because of the residents involved.
I did come across one called "seat aerobics" that advertised to be what
I was looking for but I can't find it available anywhere.
Can anyone suggest something that would do the trick for me?
Thanks,

finally got around to putting up a memorial page for him.
I never had anyone that close to me die before...
His name is Mitchell and he was a C5
Quad.<br
can tell me if it looks ok or if I overdid it or
whatever?......thanx :)<br

Hi Kerena,<br
like honeycomb. it is a very light weight plastic. if
you put water on it, it will run right thru. If you
have "hotnesss) that is neurogical burning, it may not
help. but if it is moisture, it will for sure. even the
cover is more "dry" than roho. <br
prefer it, it does seem more
comfortable.<br

It's Eri...been a member for awhile but keep forgetting to come here ;) <br
wanted to say "hi"....Anyone that doesn't know me, I'm C5/6 SCI 7 almost 8 yearz
post.
I have not been online in a while (computer
problems). Just got finished checking my e-mail. I received
a letter from Olivia asking about posting chat
dates on a calender. The club does have on if this is
easier for everyone. <br
I need to get in touch with you. Please e-mail me at JamJam71@...
just wanted to say enjoying chatting with everyone. Hope to meet more people.

Hi Karen,<br
is truly for cows udders, but has long since been
discovered to be an awesome ointment. Almost like a vaseline
salve consistency, but very healing. We use it for
everything from chapped lips to diaper rash! I often slather
my overused hands, then wear light cotton gloves to
bed. (used to do that on my feet)<br
find it anywhere. Osco, Walgreens, even our Costco. It
is sold in a green square tin, probably weighs about
a pound, costs about $6.<br
to buy it at a fam supply store, or co-op.<br
i have not checked out the Supracor site, but know
there are "lites" which are thinner, and contours. I
prefer the thick one, mine seems sosft, maybe it has
softened with age?<br
Hello All,I tired a Stimulite cushion,loved the
idea behind it and think it would be a great
cushion, but the one i tried was too firm and wasn't
comfy.Well of course my dealer(A real jerk) wasn't any help
either. So i don't know if it was just the cushion they gave
me to try,or if another size or contour or if there
is a softness factor ,it might of been better?.I
would love to get away fromthe roho's,i already have
one flat that i can't get the hole fixed, and i
haven't done any thing dangerous to the cushion yet.Just
wait till i hit the shop and am working with metal and
welding etc, flat city?.Do they make the Stimulite in
different softness's or thicker?.I'm not real big yet,but
am growing, good ol middle age is here.I'm around
165-175 lbs?.Was 155 post injury.I agree the Roho can get
hot,but i believe or think it's coller than the Jay2
Extreeme i came home with,i hated that cushion with a
passion.<br
couldn't resist commenting, been in a ornery depressed who
gives a crap mood lately.I think my rash could be a
sort of yeast infection also, specially if i don't get
some ointment on it soon,it gets a little smelly, but
no signs for several months now.Neosporin has helped
that i think.Probably the same treatment as bag balm.1
thing i have found out, don't apply a baby powder or
after shower powder after applying a balm,it cakes up
and then you have a mess.I have seen pictires of the
Roho Nexus, looks ok to me,but never tried one.Sure
wish i had a good local dealer that had the goods to
try and be helpful, instead of just trying to make a
sale.Local for me is Columbus Ohio,50 miles away, nothing at
all really in my local town 7 miles away, wellthey can
order things, but your stuck with it,so might as well go
online and try and be cheaper even if you have to
return.<br
adjustments, must be the farmer in me,everything we own is
adjustable to get to the perfect combo for any setting.<br
Thanks Nell for Hatties comment,i will tell her lol.<br
Well got to go,got caling hrs to go to for a great
uncle tonite,then funeral tommorow,he was 92.Well have
a great weekend Randy
Cute dog Randy!<br
You worry me...I am not one to talk for I have
made many preparations for when I might not be here in
control.lol I am a control freak. You probably have the right
idea but hope you are well and in good spirits..Dorla
hi all...<br
stimulite (supracor) i am going back to supracor. 1)the
covers are better 2) i wash mine alot, and find i can
take it in the shower, wash, and it dries quickly. 2)
i have some sensation, and it IS more comfortable
3) it is tought to keep the right amount of air in
nexus 4) the CAN and do leak.5) as far as keeping you
"drier" that is a definate! I wear alot of shorts in the
summer, and get clammy in the nexus.<br
(supracore) is going to be made without the leg depressions
in the front. being a lady, i like my legs together,
and often strap them that way (always in
dresses)<br
took so many adjustments, spring tension, length of
frame (i, too, like my legs straight in line) and the
first one had a frame that was too short, angle and
height of footrest ( in fact my guys here make me a
really nice footplate which I LOVE)<br
took the XTR back in and told them i did not want it,
just to paint my colours and sell this one! they kept
working with me. so, if you are in an outlying area and
do not have a local dealer, try to get them to agree
to work with you. i can't believe the difference the
changes made.<br
have those areas that get no air circulation. I have
had similar trouble. I now use a blow dryer before
dressing, (feet, too) and when it gets reddish, i use bag
balm (no pun, intended)<br
now.<br
goes..<br
Hi Diane you are A 100% correct thay started taking meds off the shelf cause thay had A bad and or very sever side effects that did harm to the user. But now thay are taking it to far I know A pharmacist and she tells me all the time about how thay just polled this certain med cause of some stupid reason. and how there are no other meds to take its place and in some cases if the was an alternative med but Medicaid or Medicare wouldn't pay for it. I could go on.Diane you are right if you don't whant this to happen to you then write or e-mail your senator and your state representatives.
Diane <shadoseer@...
If this was not so sick I would say its a joke, but it's not funny folks.
The Dilaudid SR that helped sooo many was recently pulled by the FDA due to
heat from the DEA ( see gestapo) Next will be the Fentenyl pops and so on
until we are put on tylenol3 or Lortabs- so we can die of liver failure from
the over use of tylenol. People- WAKE UP we can't let this go on- it will
create a whole new type of junkie- the pain pt who can't get the meds they
have had for years. How would you feel if at your next pain visit they gave
you lortabs- only 30, we don't want to create any addicts- What would you
do? There is a med out there that would do wonders for me, but my doc wont
give it to me because he doesnt want to have to worry about the DEA and
losing his license. I can barely get through the day as it is,, without my
meds, I would just be lying in bed waiting to die.
Since when did the DEA get their medical licenses anyway? Have they gone to
medical school and done residency and more- have they seen actual patients?
Have they seen those of us in chronic intractable pain who just want it to
stop? Many of us put in that pain by the medical community itself. Do any of
you care about this? I know there are more than a few who are on Duragesic
now. How would you feel without it, especially if you were given nothng in
it's place.
What are you going to do about it? Nothing and rely on others to fight for
you? We can't do it alone. Once gone, good luck getting it back.Write to
your senators, go by your local representatives office, send the governor
your thoughts oon this, but please don't just sit there and wait and watch.
I can promise you, without a doubt, if the DEA gets its way and our
medication is all but taken away, you will hear of more and more suicides. I
heard of 1 last night and an attempt today. Is this really what we want?
Thank you,
Diane Kearns-Carlstrom

Thanks for the URL I checked out the quickie
online and found all the information I needed. It wasn't
so much I didn't know what kind of chair I wanted
just needed some of the measurements and explanation
for some of the terminology that was on the order
form. I have a quickie now and just wanted to make sure
I ordered a chair with the same options. The
medical supply place I use is not a quickie dealer but
they were willing to order the chair with medicare
paying.<br
i would like to know who is investigating me steve?
now, this is personal!!
Beware of a guy named Jerry or anyone from medical supply watch dog,
or email quickie_xtr.This is a single person with a grudge against a
reputable company in North Carolina If anybody wants the the details
on this person please repond to this post and I will send the
information. This person is also under investigation. I have several
references to back this up! Ask and I will refer them to respond to
you!
Barbara, try this one!<br
I'm gald you see it that way, nothing else to complain about? Most people see you post and hit one button..................DELETE! By the way I have just recieved a request for info about us from a FORMER HEARTLINE MEDICAL patient.

i don't get it Steve, were you in law enforcement, or
were you not in law enforcement? every time you post
you say something different. Anyway, i am sticking to
my guns. i am not the only person who has had a bad
experience with wilmington medical, lara on wheels, a
member of this group, also had issues. i am going to
bad mouth wilmington medical in this group and in any
other group i find that you are advertising their

you want to, let them read All of the posts, and they
can judge for themselves. so far, i have not received
a single complaint about expressing my experiences
with your company, instead, i have received
confirmation that i am not the only one who has had
problems with WMS. As i said before, i will continue
to warn people about your company every time i see an

Not sure, what is it? I would love to get away from the idiots in this group!

Barbara, befroe I even begin to look for the
site, is your rep in the position of letting you try
out the chairs? My rep let me try them out for a week
of so in orf=der to make sure I was going to be
comfortable. You wuldn't buy a car without a test drive?! And
of course you are in the chair a great deal more
than you are in a car!! I am looking into the casters,
I have heard good things...good luck....<br
Way to go Geri ! Glad you are feelin better.
Thanks for all the input on the pump. However , you have

Hi all,<br
medical the maker of the Quickie II wheelchair. Time has
come for me to get a new chair and need to decide what
features I want on it. I have just ordered light weight
wheelchairs in the past and what ever I ended up with I used.
I have an Action xtra but have been using a quickie
II that a friend gave me . I really like the quickie
but when the guy at the medical supply place started
asking me if I wanted this or that I didn't know the
terminology and was lost. Unfortunately he wasn't any
brighter than I am lol. He couldn't even figure out the
angle the foot rest are at. I like my legs straight
down and not sticking out in front. Couldn't decide if
that was 70 or 60 degree angle. Also asked about the
size of the sling seat? Also what is it like using
pnuematic casters does it add weight give a better ride or
what?<br

Well, I am doing LOTS better! Was not able to
work or drive this past week, finally got the morphine
removed Wed, then it took two days for that in the tube
from pump to spine, to get thru, and today is my fist
day with a sense of well being, thank GOD!<br
pump is at such a low dose as the morphine intensified
it so much that I will have to work back up to 700
or so and that will take at least a month. BUT
AGAIN,,I would never give it up, just keep the morpine
out! Actually if she would have put 1/10 of the dose
it would have beed probably good, but she got so fed
up with me and my calling, that she got mad, and
just took it out. At least I never have to go back to
her.<br
real bitch to me on Friday!<br
to work Monday with energy and everything. My speech
was not only slurred, I did not really have enough
energy to speak!<br

Hey Chris, I too have had my pump about five
years, for spasms. I can honestly say that since the
first three months, I would have to inflict bodily
injury to anyone who would suggest taking mine away. I
have spasms soooo bad, it would be all day cathing,
getting ready, cathing (or trying to) for about an hour
and a half then resting to d o it again. It has been
a God sent. The problems at the beginning were all
worth it, because I knew from the "test-run" that it
would work. I have a refill about every 4-5 weeks and
it only takes about 15 minutes in the office. Well
worth the time to me.<br
Hi everyone,<br
users. Some of you probably got it too. It seems like a good site.<br

The couple had been debating the purchase of a new auto for weeks. He wanted a new truck. She wanted a fast little sports-like car so she could zip through traffic around town.
He would probably have settled on any beat up old truck, but everything she seemed to like was way out of their price range. "Look!" she said. I want something that goes from 0 to 200 in 4 seconds or less. "And my birthday is coming up. You could surprise me."
For her birthday, he bought her a brand new set of bathroom scales. Services are pending...

just thought i'd let everyone know i'll be away
from the computer till at earliest march 5th. spring
break (yea!). if there are any questions, comments,
i'll get to them as soon as i can! thanks :)
Karen, try to be nice to your keyboard and this
is the thanks you get!lol Reminds me of a friend of
ours in Michigan who is constantly "ralphing" at just
about everything--politics, education, television,
movies--everything makes him ralph. Ed & I tried to get him to have
a little pity on his keyboard, but he spends so
much time there his wife got angry one evening and
threw the pizza at him which landed--you guessed it, on
the innocent keyboard! True story, good for a grin

Ok, again I need to set you straight. No I'm not Martin, I'm steve. I don't need Martin help to clean up the refuse of ex-employees. Do you know anything about law enforcement? Oh , I guess you would with your past. If you did you would know that when you graduate you are given a certificate which allows you to be sworn in, you don't get sworn in until you accept a job with an agency. DO SOME RESEARCH! I have noticed that everytime I correct you on something you no longer have anything to say about it. MMMM..... wonder why? I have recived a lot of mail that supports me and my efforts, as a matter of fact I spoke with an ex-officer last night and he was laughing at your feble attempts to argue with no ammo! After I graduated I got a job as a assistive technology person at Craven Regional Medical Center with my sister and brother in law so I DID know the people who I went to work with. I moved to Wilmington to persue a better career in a city I love! Yes I am in the medical
field, Salespeople sell a product in return for cash. I promote a service that helps people get the medical goods they need using there insuance, that is not a salesperson. How do you know what degrees I have? I have a lot more that you, obviously! We offer our service all over the country, as for lurking around, that's YOUR wording and YOUR opinion ONLY! I make my salery just like every other hard working person. You only speak for yourself, not anybody else. Brad WAS fired! I was in the room at the time! He scewed up bad and everyone knew it. If Brad ever did stand up for me I never knew it, I ws all the time talking to Martin about how he was messing up things I was doing! What did he win? I have seen nothing to prove that! He did get a lot of cutomers for Martin, some on his own! Most of the time it was other workers who made all the initial contact and got all the information, Brad just follwed up and faxed the doctors, and most of the time pissed them off! I'll use
spellcheck next time, I'm supprised you ever noticed anything!
I would like to thank all of the people who see through this guy! Shawn, David Heather etc.
Hey David, as per our conversation, alert all the other moderators about this guy so we can get him banned fron all these sites and stop him from posting this garbage! Tell Heather to contact me so we can get him out of the others as well! Best to all of you and Thanks!
Hi ! First of all, in case you thought Apollo
didn't answer, he did personally, thank you, I will
answer personally, SOON!<br
pump was set WRONG, I was a huge success story for the
pump!(simple human error, compounded by the fact I flew to
Hawaii the next day, so was far away from help)<br
in January my new Dr introduced morphine, at way too
high of a dose, since it was mixed with the baclofen
(both make each other work stronger)<br
encourage you to have the pump test done, no harm, no foul!
you can then decide what you want to do. real
simple.<br
happy, and would not give them up. I wouldn't give mine
for a million dollars! and if I had to, I would only
trade it for a loaded gun, cause that was no life,
before.<br
my left calf is the worst! Then feet and lower legs,
and buttocks! They have been driving me crazy which
is why I tried the intrathecal morphine. I drive
about 100+ miles per day, make several sales call, and
could not take the oral meds necessary to gain any
relief. I was up to 3600 Neurontin, Dr wanted me to back
of, which is another reason we tried the morphine. I
am now at 2000 or so, still hurting alot!<br
there<br
and you posted this why?
Scott Wesner <sawesner@...
Sorry about the typos!!! I killed my other keyboard the other night. I thought
I would be nice and tried to give it a drink of coke. We the poor thing
drowned.....LOL<br

Why is it that every employee at Wilmington medical
you have talked about was let got due to "bad business
decisions on their part"? You sound more and more like
martin in every post you write. In fact, after careful
review, i believe you are martin, i don't think I'm
talking to Steve anymore. in one of your previous
posts you mentioned this being "a circus". that's a
martin term. and by the way, there was a major
contradiction in your last post. you claim to be a
former law enforcement "officer" but in the next
sentence you said you were never sworn in? that
happens right after school, before you are even
considered an officer. If you were never sworn in, you
were never an officer, get off the crack and get your
lies right before you post!!! if you were 3rd in your

claim, why the hell would you go through all that
schooling, and training, just to turn around get a job
in a field you had no experience or knowledge in from
a person you barely even knew?? that makes no sense!!
your not in the medical field, your a salesman, plain
and simple!! you have no degree, you never went to med
school, you don't treat people, you lurk around
disabled chat groups advertising your companies
products and you make a commission off every new
person you bring in. these chat groups are for
disabled people to talk freely about the problems we
face, we don't want your ads here. and don't try to
say "I'm just trying to help out" because your not, if
you were, you would have mentioned that sterile caths
are available from any DME company, not just
Wilmington medical supply. Your just trying to make
some cash off the needs of the disabled. your the one
in a drug induced state buddy!! and as far as running
an NCIC on me, go ahead, you got the link, everyone
does. put in my name and see what comes up. here, I'll
spell it for ya, its Jerry errico.
and on a final note, Brad was the only person i
know of that WASN'T fired, he quit (with a very large
check i might add). he was the only person that i know
of that was stood up for you when you first started
there, and you know that for a fact. he was the only
one smart enough to stand up to martin and win. he got
martin a lot of customers, he made his money, then he
left to pursue his own ventures. he was the only one

Hi Geri, I am sci c7 20 years post. For the first
18 years of my injury I had chronic pain on the left
side of my rib cage. I took injections of
anti-inflammatory steriods for all that time. At the end I was
getting 7-10 injections every 3 months. Well that no
longer worked. My spasms were bad from the beginning and
I used valium to control them. However, the burning
skin on my right side did not start until 10 years
after I was injured. Now it is driving me insane. My
calf is one of the worst spots along with my hip and
lower side. <br
vioxx, percocet and of course still valium. The
neurontin worked great at first (I have only been on it for
6 months), but I am still increasing the dosage as
it is not working as well as in the
beginning.<br
wish I had some answers for you.<br
with a pain management/anesthesiologist also. He is
the 4th one I have used in the 18 years I have had
pain. I meet with him again the 1st of March and really
don't know what to say to him at this point.
<br
suggested but I feel it is so intrusive to my body but if
it works it works. I have not met one person who has
a pump that has not had a fair amout of trouble
with it. That's one reason why I have alot of
trepidation about putting one in. If I could hear one success
story it sure would help...lol<br
I hear that might help you with the burning I'll be
sure to post.<br
On Oct 29,2004, I suffered a C6 injury from an ATV accident. I have
put together a website if your interested in checking it out
(www.shawnoconnell.com).It contains personal stories, as well as
useful links for SCI.
If you live in my area, I also put together approx $40,000 in
exercise
equip for use by people in wheelchairs. I believe a cure is possible,
as long as we stay in shape in order to use it. Pictures of the
equipment and a way to contact me is listed on the website.
Dare to believe - because anything is possible

HI ! <br
post injury and have had a baclofen pump for severe
spasticty and tone since 1 yr post. Muscles were so stiff I
was unable to transfer, or get into the car myself,
so I had to give in and get it. Occasional severe
spasms were not the issue with me. It has worked well,
but my spasticity just kept getting worse, and I have
gone from 300's (micrograms/per day) to 680 by late
fall '99 (from 4-97) Had been on 120 mg oral,
literally no releif, only grogginess, slurred speech.
Anyway, the tingling and burning I have always had, has
also been increasing, until late Dec it became totally
intolerable, to the point where I would rather not live
anymore if I had to endure it. Difficulty concentrating,
hard to finish a sentence due to the distraction of
pain.<br
(anthesiologist) who started with a baclofen/morphine mix. From
680 baclofen, we went to 600 micro grams baclofen and
.50 micrograms morphine per day. Day 1 I experienced
racing heart beat, called the Dr. and was told (by
staff) that if it continued to contact my regular MD.
Day 2 I awoke in such a weak, dizzy, groggy state. I
was vomiting and could not focus. Called Dr, not in.
I told them I will be at ER. As usual, sat there
three hrs. was made to go to Dr office, anyway, where
they adjusted pump, then called an ambulance to take
me back to the hosp for three days! I am now at
approx .21 mics morphine, and 525 baclofen.<br
still stiff, spasms, pain (decreased maybe 10%) feel
light headed, often nauseated, decreased appetite, very
poor sleep patterns |(1.5 hr segments, about 8 hrs/
night) The most relief I seem to get is from neurontin,
I was taking up to 3,000 mg daily, before the
morphine start, but had been feeling that it was causing
me memory loss and an inability to concentrate. I
did not want anything to interfere with my senses. I
am a professional sales person in a competive
industry, so I need to be sharp, and think (and speak)
quickly and correctly at all times. I am now taking about
1800 neurontin, just to get by. The pain is burning
and then my left calf feels like someone is
practicing gutting a fish! If I take a neurontin at the
onset, in 24 minutes, my legs will relax, and the pain
will subside for 90 minutes or so. Then I jsut try to
wait as long as possible to take another 200-300 mg.
<br
wanting to get with a pharmacist, but mine here is not so
familiar with drugs intrathecally.<br
MedTronics pump)<br

OMG!!! I said one thing in regards to a crude joke that he sent...5 words is what I typed...sorry to correct you but it has not been all the time and ON A WEEKLY BASIS. I haven't responded to him about his jokes in a week or so which have been becoming more frequent by the way. In regards to bashing...go back and read all of the posts that he has sent about Steve, Dave, and me. I didn't go off a tirade about him...again it was 5 words regarding a crude joke that he sent.
And to you again Scott I apologize for referring to you as a racist as it appears to have hurt your feelings and caused you to become angry and bitter. As for your volunteer work, I commend you for helping those kids out. I'm just tired of the crude and trashy jokes so I delete them...so if you don't like what I post then don't read it and just delete it as I do with the crude jokes...Scott's own advice about his jokes. So if Scott, or anybody for that matter is going to post their business (I just don't see how jokes are business) on this site then they should be prepared for any back lash for posting on this public site. And that is very hypocritical to tell me to stay out of his business when he is in Steve's, Dave's, mine.
Also, if you go back and read over those posts about the jokes, I spoke about his behavior NOT him...the behavior being the posting of the jokes...however he took it personally as an attack on him and not the jokes. And I did apologize to him about that...read the posts and ask him about it.
Regards,
Shawn
DON'T FEED THE TROLLS
OK, Wilmington Medical maintains a very high level of professionalism, regardless of how much you hate Martin, me or Wilmington Medical. I also would like to say you CAN'T disprove anything because you have no ammo! Nothing you've said is been proven, all it is is hearsay on your part. You have not exposed anything but spite on your part. By the way, if your drug-induced state of mind will remember, I'm talking about Terri in shipping here not in Florida. She's not in a wheelchair! Now after you realize you mis-directed info, the Terry you refered to was let go because of bad business decisions on his part! You are right about saying something about your illegal requests,as a former law enforcement officer, not agent, I was not swarn in at that time so I was under no obligation to say anything. I should have turned you in! But I figured you as a friend and decided not to. Guess what? I was wrong! The reason I left law enforcement was I got a job offer for a medical position
and took it, that's it! By the way I was 3rd in my class and was offered jobs everywhere but decided to persue a job in the medical field. You can shoot out whatever you like about me and you can't put me down because I have nothing to hide. You still haven't proven anything that I did, except doing my job, which is something I love to do. Helping people! I could run an NCIC on you and post your background but I don't sink that low! Now that all is out, how about sending this to private email and stop bothering these people, or is that what you to do, get attention and try and make people feel sorry for you?
Jerry ***** <quickie_xtr@...
"what is it exactly that "I" did"
i will tell you exactly what it is that you did. 1st
of all, you promote wilmington medical supply, in your
eyes they can do no wrong, i am here to disprove that,
plain and simple, 2nd your trying to blame all of the
companies problems on the one person who exposed them,
me. your worse than a polotician. 3rd, terri is in a
wheelchair too dumbass, or did you forget that.I heard
he got fired too and moved to florida. 4th, paying
someone under the table is illegal, you were in law
enforcement so you should know that!! so if i did say
that, why didnt you do anything about it? as a former
law enforcement agent it would have been the right
thing to do, but then again, you dont always do the
right thing, do you?? thats why your no longer in law
enforcement isnt it? but i wont go there, just yet.
paying less then minimum wage (which was what i was
getting) is also illegal but when your disabled and
cant find work, you do what you gotta do!!
why would ask what his address is then scott? are you bipolar or just stupid?
dave
(p.s. i don't really give a shit if you got laid moron, that was bait.)
